The Manitoba Chapter of the Canadian Evaluation Society (CES) is a not-for-profit association dedicated to the advancement evaluation theory, practice, and professionalization.
We are pleased to provide this site as a way to keep those in Manitoba informed about current evaluation events, provide resources and support, and encourage networking to take place.
Who We Are
As of 2019, the Manitoba chapter has 66 active members and 16 credentialed evaluators. Our chapter’s members represent professionals from the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors that reflects the value and interest in evaluation from all sectors.
Across Canada, there are 12 other provincial/territorial chapters that represent a community of practice in evaluation with over 1,700 members and nearly 400 credentialed evaluators.
Since being established in 1981, CES has developed the professional standards of practice for evaluators in Canada representing professional evaluators from the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors.
